We rely on the generosity of the public to carry out our services, we do not receive any financial support from the government and do not receive any grants whatsoever. Therefore doantions, no matter how small, are extremely important to us. We employ no fulltime staff as part of our organisation, all of our members are volunteers and selflessly give their time for free to help others.


Below is some of the costs involved in running the services we provide, you can support the IUSRU by clicking the "Donate" button beneath each item to make a contribution to the unit to purchase that item. All donations are processed securely through Paypal, where all major debit and credit cards are accepted.


€5 will buy 1 air fill which will cover the cost of 1 dive for a missing person

€20 will allow us to replace a pair of diving gloves for carrying out searches


€50 will cover the cost of servicing one of our diving cylinders

€100 will enable us to buy a new lifejacket to be used by our members during operations.

€150 will cover the cost of a one day sonar and dive search for a missing person

€200 will cover the cost of an anuual service for one of our boat engines


€250 will purchase a new boat suit to keep our members warm and safe during cold searches

€500 will allow us to buy a new DrySuit to carry out dives for missing persons
